Ron D'Argenio

Ron D’Argenio wove his way through several Texas bands before finding his home with Brandon Rhyders band.

Since landing in Austin from New York City in 2001, Ron has performed, toured, and/or recorded with Michelle Shocked, Miranda Lambert, Ruthie Foster, Malfred Millegan, John Gaar, Georgia Middleman, Honeybrowne, and countless others.

When asked what the biggest difference between playing a Texas honky-tonk and Madison Square Garden is, his honest answer is invariably “the pizza… it’s definitely the pizza.” Ron grew up in northern New Jersey where he attended William Paterson University as a classical piano major.
