Hello there my fine fellow music lovers. I have come to understand that there are some rumors out there floating around about the band and what’s been happening in our camp and I feel it would be best if I put out a message to keep any malicious lies to just that.
I have worked with Jon Folk over the last three years while he was at Buddy Lee and in his new venture with Red11 Music. I am very proud of our accomplishments while under his booking wing, but decided it was time for a new chapter and opted out of entering into a contractual commitment that would have extended our working relationship. I wish Jon nothing but the best.
Over 4 weeks ago I also decided that a change had to be made within our band as I let Charlie Richards go. Charlie had been with the group for 3 plus years and I always enjoyed his approach being the multi instrumentalist that he is. Charlie will always be my friend and I certainly believe we will have the opportunity to work together again in some capacity.
My longtime road warrior, bass player, harmony singer and friend James Hertless has announced his retirement from the road at some point in the not so distant future. James has a beautiful family and wants to spend more time with them. He told me that he has been on the road since he was 12 and that he needs to be home with his MaKenna and Stacey. He will be missed when he leaves, but as a family man myself I completely understand his decision and know that it’s the best thing for him. It’s going to be real hard to fill his shoes.
And finally, I called my longtime friend/singer/songwriter/guitar aficionado Matt Powell and asked him to come sit in and have some fun with us and we’re doing exactly that. Anyone who has had the opportunity to see one of our recent shows knows exactly what I’m talking about. In fact, I’m having so much fun that I don’t want it to stop, so we’re all just living in the moment!
To our Fans: Thank you so much for your support. ‘Head Above Water’ is a best seller already and ‘Rock Angel’ and ‘You Burn Me’ have been amazing singles on radio. Please continue to support live music and the bands you love!

Honestly,
Brandon Rhyder
